A Unique Triangular Insert with 6 Positive Cutting Edges Features a Corner Angle of 55° and a Positive Rake Angle. Specifically Designed for Semi-Finish and Finish Turning Applications on Standard TNMG Holders.
Cost-Effective positive insert for finishing up to 3mm (.118") depth of cut. It is available in a variety of external and internal holders with different angles and pinpointed coolant to the cutting edge. The new insert can be clamped on standard TNMG 1604/33 turning holders.
This positive insert offers easy, soft cutting with reduced cutting forces and low power consumption. It effectively reduces burrs on steel, stainless steel, and titanium parts. With its 55-degree cutting edge, it can also replace DCMT inserts in almost all applications.
The insert provides excellent chip breaking on all materials and delivers an excellent surface quality of 0.5Ra.
